According to Ayurvedic* principles, one should avoid wetting the top of one’s head with hot or very warm water. It can be bad for your sinuses and may cause cold and cough. One should use mild, lukewarm water or room temperature water instead. Regular usage of very warm, hot water on the crown may manifest in the body as excess mucus, cough, asthma, sluggishness, laziness and perhaps even delirium.

According to Ayurvedic principles, the head are is the seast of the bio energy of Kapha ( Water and earth Elements ). Hot water creates an imbalance in the bioenergy of Kapha leading to imbalances in health.

I consult people with diet and lifestyle changes which could deeply help with their overall well being . I help them transit to a Organic Whole Plant Based Diet 🌱 ( #wpbd ) that is suitable to their unique constitution, by the seasons and the climatic conditions where they live.
